Incredibly honored to have designed for KTLA News an original caricature logo of the late, iconic Entertainment Journalist Sam Rubin. I also had the privilege to design the official event invitation for KTLA’s charity fundraiser, called the “Sam Rubin Celebration of Life Event,” held at The Musso & Frank Grill in commemoration of the restaurant’s 105th anniversary.

The exclusive, private event brought together those in the Entertainment Industry who knew and loved Sam Rubin. Among the celebrities who attended: Frances Fisher, Lisa Ann Walter, Danny Trejo, Loni Love, Jerry O’Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Yvette Nicole Brown, Anthony Davis, Joely Fisher, Diane Warren, Harry Hamlin, Marc Summers, and KTLA on-air talent.

The caricature logo was used to brand this special evening and all proceeds from the silent auction went directly towards the Sam Rubin Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will be given annually to aspiring entertainment journalists. Included within the silent auction was the original print of my Sam Rubin design. The artwork now hangs in KTLA’s newly dedicated Sam Rubin Green Room.
